Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Paralegal to join our legal team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, contracts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will support our General Counsel and legal team in various legal matters, including contract management, compliance, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, non-disclosure agreements and various real estate transaction-related documents, including estoppels, leases, and amendments. Serve as the authorized point of contact for all contracts.
- Conduct legal research and provide summaries and recommendations to the legal team.
- Manage and maintain the company's contract database and ensure all contracts are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
- Support the legal team in corporate governance matters, including maintaining corporate records.
- Assist in compliance matters, including working with the business to implement operational procedures, monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining charts of such changes and ensuring the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel to facilitate legal processes and resolve legal issues.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including managing external law firm billing, scheduling meetings, assisting with the document finalization and signing process, preparing reports, and maintaining legal files.
- Participate in department and company initiatives and projects, as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certification, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 plus years of experience as a paralegal, in a commercial or corporate law setting.
- Experience in the retail or fashion industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial real estate law.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs and must be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and taking action to address them
